Netsuite, Inc®, now a NYSE company, was one of the first companies to provide a "cloud" combined solution with ERP, SFA, and ECommerce
for small and medium sized businesses. All "cloud" solutions provide combined data from a single source which allow entries made into one of any ERP, SFA or ECommerce sub-systems to be immediately available to all other sub-systems. This feature prevents the requirement of double or triple entry of data into each sub-system. Furthermore, the "cloud" solution provides access to all systems from anywhere, at anytime (24/7) where access to the internet is available. Updates and backup of the ERP, SFA and ECommerce systems are completed by the "cloud" service provider and allows the user company not have to deal with the same. The "cloud" system requires much less equipment and IT assistance for installation and maintenance than stand alone inhouse systems.
