GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Mr. Bolen's experience, as a partner, has included extensive work related to tax administration, research, compliance, Federal and State tax examinations and protests regarding international and domestic tax matters in both national and local certified public accounting firms. Mr. Bolen is eminently qualified to provide a broad spectrum of tax services with his years of experience at all levels tax practice. He has represented individuals and businesses in all aspects of Federal and state income taxation, including tax planning, preparation, audit and appeal procedures. Mr. Bolen also has extensive experience in estate planning, estate administration and foreign taxation.Mr. Bolen's real estate experience includes structuring of real estate syndications, tax planning and projections, tax credit studies and coordination of all tax compliance and IRS matters for numerous development and construction companies.
Mr. Bolen has participated as a lecturer in a wide variety of tax programs sponsored by three national accounting firms, local CPA firms and a variety of other organizations. He formerly served as his national accounting firm's designated Real Estate and Foreign Tax Specialist for its eastern region and has been published in national tax publications.
